Island Dog had a very busy spring. Mine was even busier - so I haven't helped him keep up with his blog. He tries to work the keyboard, but his paws just aren't quite dextrous enough!
Busy or not, Island Dog found time to get to the beach. So many trees and so little time...
Pattie and I are trying to find the right artist to portray Island Dog in just the right light. Check-out this profile shot near Hernando Beach:
Island Dog is a born model. Some would say celebrity! OK. That may be a stretch - at least for now. But there is no question he has "IT." That intangible inner light that screams "STAR!"
Why do we need an artist? So Island Dog's image can be featured on a fun line of T-shirts, tote bags and beach towels. All profits to help Pat and Pattie help other cancer patients live longer and better lives!
Big head or not, at least Island Dog's heart is in the right place!
But in the meantime, we need to work hard to try and keep Island Dog humble and grounded. Next thing we know, Island Dog will sneak-away and hitch-hike is way out to Hollywood!
He has already asked that we change his name - Finnegan - to something with more pizazz! Really Finnegan? I think this modeling thing has gone to your head...
Last week I caught him sneaking around by the pool, followed by one of the cats taking serious "head shots" with my digital camera.
The cats need to pick their background a bit more carefully - and the lighting isn't the best. But look at our boy work the camera! Don't forget to smile, Island Dog!
